What is the difference between Protanopia and Deuteranopia?

Both are types of red-green color blindness. Protanopia (red-blind) makes reds appear very dark. Deuteranopia (green-blind) makes greens appear indistinguishable from reds. Deuteranopia is the most common form, affecting ~6% of males.
